Angel Donna is going home today, and Angel Melissa has arrived. Even though wonderful times will be shared at home, blog-worthy? probably not so much…our tea selections, etc., don't need to be posted. Visits by nurses and therapists are on the calendar, and the rest is a matter of time.
Again, sorry it has been impossible for many of you to post on this site. Thanks for your expressions of support and concern. Happy rainy day!!!
I'm sure sweet Marcia is in good hands with Angel Melissa. I hope Angel Donna has a safe journey home. By the way, Donna has such a fabulous sense of humor. Loved the posts!!!! Keep up the good work Marcia.
ReplyDeleteI love this blog! I think Donna should continue from Arizona. She could make up stories about Marcias progress. Welcome Melissa. Take good care Marcia!
ReplyDeleteYour wish is my command! See below for my encore performance!
DeleteHey! Look - It's Donna from ARIZONA - the demoted blogger who now can only be a 'commenter"! :-) Thanks to all who endured my blogging humor. One update on Marcia - I DID hear from Melissa today that Marcia is now only on Tylenol for pain! The nurse who visited can't believe how great she is doing. She is in great hands with Melissa and I hope Marcia will continue to blog her milestones until Melissa leaves and then I know she will put out the call to friends as needed and eventually 'go social' again! It's great she can focus on her full mobility recovery, and wonderful that friends are honoring her time to do so. GREAT friends, by the way! Where can I get some like yours, Marcia??? To all those who haven't been able to comment, my theory is that Marcia's PR firm has a very strategic "Online Reputation Management" plan in place that blocks so-called 'sketchy' friends. You know who you are.
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Melissa, and keep up the great work, Marcia. Is the BMW an automatic or stick? :-D
ReplyDeleteThe rain is as good an excuse as hip surgery to not put my lights up, but inside decor is another story. At least there are two eager little boys to "help"!
Welcome home Marcia! Donna did a great job while here. Can she be my sister if I need surgery? Take care and continue your swift recuperation.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, nooooo, don't go, Donna!!!!. You're a talented blogger.... And coming from someone who has recently gone under the knife like myself (getting old is a @#$%^) having someone like yourself keeping loved ones in the loop is priceless. It's an unbelievable challenge, to say the least, to have to talk while focusing on recovering, keeping fluids in check, keeping limbs in check, etc. so THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteAnd Marcia, I'm impressed you're allowing paparazzi get near you while in your 'sexy' hospital robe, with no makeup and stuff.... "You're a better 'woman' than I am, Gunga Din!"
Finally, thank you all soooooo much for not just keeping us up-to-date, but for helping our colleague on her road to recovery.
Hugs and you know what, from your partner-in-crime, Rosemarie
p.s. I think I might have solved your "selective posting" issue. Not only does the individual need an account with either gmail, LiveJournal, WordPress, etc. but having the right browser is important, too. I tried earlier with IE and it wouldn't allow me to post. I am able to get into all sorts of mischief now that I'm using Chrome.... happy blogging everyone:-)
But we DO want to know your tea selections! Please keep us posted on that AND Marcia's progress. Welcome, Melissa!
